Behind the looks: GRAND JETEÉ (2022) / I WANT TO RETURN RETURN RETURN (2020) / JIBRIL (2018)
As a DI colourist and workflow consultant I develop creative partnerships with cinematographers, show looks and transforms for specific projects and colour-managed workflows.
Many of my projects tell stories from womens’ perspectives – often psychological dramas with themes of trauma, exploitation or abuse. Directors I have worked with include: Sophia Bösch, Isabelle Stever, Hannah Dörr, Henrika Kull, Bernadette Kolonko, Salka Tiziana, Zora Rux, Elsa Rosengren and Sara Summa.
In 2021 I was shortlisted for FilmLight Colour Awards in the Theatrical Feature category for my work on THE MASSACRE OF ANRÖCHTE.
Between 2022 and 2024 I worked full-time for Netflix as a Colour & Look Development Technologist. The only person within the company to hold that role.
While at Netflix I was permitted to grade one or two non-Netflix features per year (to stay current) – some of which appear in the list below.
